We're making this change because we know that figuring out your Combat level can be confusing for both experienced and novice players. We are removing all consequences on RS gold your Combat level that Prayer, Summoning and Constitution levels possess. They do have a clear and desirable effect, but it's not necessary to incorporate them into the Combat level calculation.
Encouraging challenging fights. This is one of the biggest areas of change that will be made in the Evolution of Combat update. PvE combat is rebalancing all the NPCs to better suit players with similar levels. Many NPCs have ranged and magical attack to help them better place themselves within the triangle of combat.
The majority of creatures you encounter in the game currently use simple melee attacks. You rarely need to utilize other weapons. All that will change as we'll encourage you to learn the strengths and weaknesses of each monster (all shown very clearly on buy OSRS gold the combat side panel, where your stab/slash/crush/special attack buttons used to be) and to learn the best combat method and gear to use against them.
