Here are a couple of reports I thought you would like to see.  The first is on the validity of the DiSC assessment tool itself, and the second is a comparison of the DiSC tool with MBTI.  In short, the DiSC tool has been validated significantly well, and the tool measures “surface” traits rather than traits which may not be readily observed and which indicate a Jungian personality type.  One of the ways I always describe the difference is to say that you cannot really change your MBTI score, it is about who you are.  The DiSC however, measures styles and behaviors which can be changed.  It is about how you operate.   If you want to share either or both with the group, that is fine, but it may have too much detail at this point.

It may be a good idea to ask people to send in their DiSC results before the meeting.  I can take a look at them and put together some thoughts on the group profile before the session.  It also gives them a deadline to meet, which is always good.

Had a brief email exchange with Kelly, she sounds great.  It is amazing how much better people feel when they get out of the SBA environment.  Kind of like the frog in boiling water analogy.
